MOUNT TYPES: For inside mounted shades, a deduction of approximately 0.4" based on the window width and 0.25" based on the window height will be taken to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame. A minimum frame depth of 2 inches is required for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches, please opt for outside mount. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover, as outside mounts are used when there is insufficient frame depth for inside mounting. All mounting hardware is included for both inside and outside mount installations.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1: Measure the inside frame width at three locations - the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number as your inside width when ordering. Step 2: Measure the height at 3 locations - the left, middle, and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number as your inside width when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1: Measure the outside frame width adding 3-6 inches to determine the outside mount width. Step 2: Measure the outside frame length adding 4-6 inches to determine the outside mount length. It is recommended to allow for overlap to ensure proper coverage and avoid light gaps.
